naturalist Dave resting a tagged monarch on Cathy's hand, Acton Nature Center, outside Granbury, TX. Dave places a small adhesive tag on captured monarchs' rear wing, building a data base of activity on this migration flyway to Mexico. The tag does not harm the butterfly. Two of the bflies tagged here in central Texas have been recovered in Mexico. Fujifilm X-A1 and SC16-50.

This memorial was tagged several times by the same person. As the stone is very soft and porous the spray paint could not be eradicated. Anzac Day is when the people of Australia and New Zealand remember the people who lost their lives in the armed forces. To make the memorial fairly presentable on Anzac Day they had to tie a painted paper resemblance of the stonework over the worst tagged parts. Unable to stick it down with possibly damaging glue it had hundreds of metres of fishing line wrapped around it. The line was almost invisible until you got close.
As title says, I was tagged by my good buddy Daniel. And following the tag, this is the 5th picture from my 5th folder. Off course the 5th one is one of bracketed exposures so in doing so, I am obliged to apply tone mapped HDR for it.
Tanjung Harapan (Cape of Hope) is located near the Northport in Port Klang.
And yes this is also taken last year while visiting this place with Daniel.

1. I was a Law student during my university days.
2. Decided half way that Information Technology (Information Security) is where my passion really is and gave up legal studies.
3. I'm from the state of Perak, Malaysia and now calls Kuala Lumpur as my home.
4. Currently I'm working in British American Tobacco Group Service Delivery, in Global IT Security Operations Team.
5. I work in shifts to cater for different timezones. If you see sunrise shots in my streams, well that means that I am working on the night shift and is on my way back home.
6. I've learned the Arabic language for 6 years but I can't speak it properly. Nowadays it's even worse!
7. I wish I was living in a secluded island by myself and my family. Having money to work for me instead the other way around (don't we all! :D)
8. I love fermented durians, called Tempoyak.
9. I am seriously addicted to Flickr - and same as Daniel, would check my flickr on my mobile whenever I got the chance!
10. There are 4 countries that I want to visit - Iceland, Norway, New Zealand and Saudi Arabia.

12. I love portraiture photography also but I just couldn't find the passion and skills to do so :-)
13. I looove the 90's alternative music band, specifically - Pearl Jam, Alice In Chains, SoundGarden and other Seattle Sound groups!

15. I have a band of my own during my university days - playing what else but alternatives songs heavily influenced by Pearl Jam. Though no albums were made lol

Tech Specs: Tone mapped HDR from 12 exposures. 9 exposures for the overall scene and 3 exposures were taken to expose just the sun. Also digitally blended with 1 exposure from the originals using smart objects.

Eine durchfahrene Nacht und ein sehr intensiver Tag lagen bereits hinter uns. Den "Absacker wollten wir zwischen Knurów und Gierałtowice kassieren. In den letzten Jahren war ich ziemlich oft an dieser Stelle, aber irgendetwas störte immer, um ein etwas besseres Bild zu machen. Diesmal klappte es einigermaßen.
