Jeden Tag verkehrt der Flaschenzug von Trostberg nach Garching an der Alz. Er wird dabei planmäßig von einer 294 gezogen. Am Silvestertag 2020 war dafür 294 772 eingeteilt und hatte mit 3 Wagen an diesem eisigen Morgen nur wenig Last am Haken. Hier ist der Zug kurz vor der Einfahrt in den Bahnhof Garching. Transportiert wird in diesen als "Flaschenwagen" bezeichnenden Wagen Calciumcarbid.
Every day the pulley runs from Trostberg to Garching an der Alz. He is being pulled by a 294 as planned. On New Year's Eve 2020, 294 772 were assigned and had only a little load on the hook with 3 cars on this icy morning. Here the train is just before the entrance to Garching station.

Der letzte Tag des Augusts brachte in Oberbayern für die Jahreszeit eher ungewöhnlich klares Licht und damit eine traumhafte Bergsicht mit sich. Am Abend wollten wir diesen Umstand für Bilder an der Strecke Freilassing - Mühldorf nutzen. Sehr fraglich war allerdings, ob das Licht auch noch für RB 27990 reicht. Wir versuchten unser Glück kurz vor Laufen. Die Schatten wurden immer länger, nur ein kleiner Abschnitt auf der Strecke blieb noch im Licht. Die 5 Minuten Verspätung bei der Abfahrt in Freilassing machten die Sache nicht gerade entspannter, doch am Ende reichte es noch für 628 560.
The last day of August brought unusually clear light for the time of year in Upper Bavaria, providing a stunning view of the mountains. In the evening, we wanted to take advantage of this situation to take pictures along the Freilassing-Mühldorf line. However, it was very doubtful whether there would be enough light for RB 27990. We tried our luck just before Laufen. The shadows grew longer and longer, with only a small section of the line remaining in the light. The five-minute delay at departure from Freilassing didn't exactly make things any easier, but in the end, there was still enough light for 628 560.
Am Wochenende des 29./30. Juni 2019 verkehrte anlässlich des Rheinland-Pfalz Tages in Annweiler am Trifels auf dem RE6 Neustadt - Karlsruhe auf einem Umlauf eine n-Wagen Garnitur. Diese befindet sich aktuell auf dem Weg nach Karlsruhe und hat vor kurzem Winden verlassen, wo die Pfälzische Maximiliansbahn verlassen wurde und Kurs gen Osten aufgenommen wird.

Rögle vindkraftpark
The Rögle Windfarm pictured in the distance is actually 3 miles northw west of Hasslarp, Sweden (where this image was captured) in Kattarp, Sweden.
The Rögle wind power park on Röglevägen and is tagged under Solar cell companies, and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Norwegian energy group Vardar AS (Vardar Vind AB).
The company's wind power portfolio in southern Sweden includes two wind farms that are in operation, with a total installed capacity of 29 MW and an annual production of approx. 70 GWh.
The Rögle wind farm is located in Helsingborg municipality and includes 8 turbines of 2.85 MW, a total of 23 MW installed power. Rögle was completed in February 2016.

Tagged by Ilja & speak-low. This is a picture when I was about 2 years old. Picture taken for the festival of Onam, we have flower petals arranged in various designs. :)) the lower picture is how I would have looked most of the time, my thumb in my mouth and the other hand rolling my hair. Don't know why but I loved doing that.
Zufällig überflog mich an einem Feldrand dieser wunderschöne Hirschkäfer (Lucanus cervus). Seine Umrisse am Himmel konnte man schon auf 50m sehen. Sein Flug ging direkt auf meinen Standort zu, bis er mich dann mit ca. 3m Abstand überflog
#204 - tag #4 - is Amigo. He is frequently seen on the Big Sur Coast, and is perhaps too friendly. One is cautioned to keep a safe distance from this bird to protect his safety.
We had such an amazing experience yesterday in Big Sur with 6 California Condors all in one place - many of them flying very low and impressing us with their amazing size. They were flying with Turkey Vultures, and the large size difference was very visible.
