Well, here I am. Think that seaside pic was in Scarborough and was taken by one of those seaside street photographers. I had a bad day that day. Notice the plaster on my knee? - don't remember that.
But a few hours after that shot was taken, we were on the beach and it was time to go and I wouldn't get out of the deck chair. My mum was trying to get me out of it and we were laughing because she said she would fold the deck chair up with me in it. So I said go on then, and she did, and I got my little finger trapped between the foldy wood bits as it closed up and it ripped my little finger nail clean off. I screamed and screamed and blood went everywhere filling my grandmas handkerchief until it was entirely red. My mum felt so bad about that one... good ammunation later in life it was!

So here goes..
01. My name is Randy Alboria Yu, 31 years old, married to Tata 3 years ago and we have no kids yet.
02. My father is half-Chinese and my mother has a Spanish blood. Ironically, I don't speak both languages but I can speak a total of 4 other languages. Filipino, English, Japanese and our own dialect which is Cebuano (Bisaya).
03. I hailed from a small town in Northern Mindanao called Nasipit but left it when I was 16 to study in UP Diliman. There, I became a member of a Fraternity, Melo and attyubag are some of my brods.
04. My mother worked in Tokyo for more than 20 years and I followed her here in 2001. I am presently working in Gabon Embassy as an Assistant of the Ambassador but I have worked as Embassy driver; a Club waiter, a bartender and a manager; a construction worker (painter); a Club DJ and a host (hosto). :P I also worked as an NGO's Operations Manager, one that facilitates the first Filipino caregivers here in Japan.
05. I paint with watercolor until I was 25, and I will try to paint again.
06. In sports, I play Basketball, Tennis, Volleyball, Baseball, Football, Badminton and Table-tennis, and with it I considered myself athletic. :P I also play Airsoft.
07. I love to sing and I love to dance. Sometimes I annoy/amaze my wife with moves only my mother would appreciate.. :P
08. I am a joker by nature, my jokes depend on my mood. Sometimes I crack a joke that will send all people around me laughing but sometimes.. I'm the only one who laughs at it.
09. I am a Mitsubishi lover, my first car was a Mitsubishi Pajero and I currently drive a Mitsubishi GTO.
10. My brain's range is varying, it can be that of a 10-year old, playing video games all day with not a care in the world or that of a 50-year old talking business or attending meetings and making points that my boss is suppose to do but he just can't because of a super hectic schedule.

This is the Mad Hatter from Alice in Wonderland. I made him several years ago from a pattern I fell in love with. I studied with Monika Shedden, a wonderful dollmaker. She taught me how to do all the nitty gritty techniques in making cloth dolls and then I went to town!! I made most of the "cast" of Alice in Wonderland on my own then, from my own patterns! I had a BALL!! The Hatter's HAT is a teacup, so I put a Constant Comment teabag- WITH THE TAG into the hat!! FUNNN!

On this day the sky was wonderfully clear, but as the sun was falling below the horizon in the distance, this unique Sculptured cloud began to change color. Hope Y'all like it.

much more visible detail in this shot than I notice in the swing tag that is still on my desk. Personally, I prefer my other MM 'tag' shot (hashtag telephone) - more abstract.
This is an exhib of formated works commissioned by a french collector who claims to have gathered the "best of street art in the world"...well, although the setting is prestigious and gives a new light on street art, the fact that the works are formated on canvas and in a place where you have to pay to see so called street art is, to me, far from the generosity and free spirit of street art. Of course, the statement of "the best in the world" does not do any credit to this exhib. Yes there are reknown artists out of the 150 presented here but looking at the spread between countries represented, 62 from USA, 50 from France but only one from Brasil, one from Belgium, and none from Italy, UK or Spain is an indication of the irrelevance of such an arrogant statement.
