I was sticking together some of those "1x1 plate with side ring" pieces and it somehow morphed into a Roman-style table...
foam glued together with gorilla glue, coated in silicone and beeswax. I'll set the bottom layer into this and pour the epoxy on and then set the table top onto it

This one inch scale table is all ready for the Holidays. It is skirted in holly print fabric with a green topper decorated with red bows. On the top of the table are a decorated table tree, a dish of candy, a plate with a gingerbread cookie and a cup ready to fill with tea or coffee for Santa as he makes his rounds on Christmas Eve. Next to the table (attached) is a decorative broom decoration and a wrapped package.
The Bluejays around my house eat well. Most of them walk around instead of flying....too fat! LoL!!!

A vintage table found stained and dented, fixed then painted, decoupaged with birds on a branch cut out from a sheet of Cavallini & Co. gift wrapping paper ...pretty!
Head of the lamp is made of Senegalese calabash. White parts are carved layer of the fruit which change the color to red/orange when the lamp is switched on. On the bottom of the lamp there’s perforated closing part locked by magnets. The lamp was painted with wood oil and alcohol ink. Black parts are burnt calabash surface.
The center element is genuine Baltic amber- ranked as the world's finest; resin from the ancient trees dating back ~40 million years.
The base of the the lamp was designed and carved from the block of cherry wood by Polish wood artist- Jacek Wydrzyński.
The stand is decorated with brown jeweller's waxed string.

Mick and Jane Tarpey renewed their wedding vows on the beach at Tsilivi, and treated us to a lovely lunch afterwards.
We hiked along the shore of table rock lake.
Table Rock Lake is an artificial lake or reservoir in The Ozarks of southwestern Missouri and northwestern Arkansas. It is impounded by Table Rock Dam constructed in 1954-1958 on the White River by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. It is one of the tourist draws for the nearby town of Branson, Missouri. There are several commercial marinas along the lake, and Table Rock State Park is located on the east side both north and south of Table Rock Dam. Downstream from the dam, the Missouri Department of Conservation operates a fish hatchery, which is used to stock trout in Lake Taneycomo. It's my first lamp made of Senegalese calabash. Because of thickness of the fruit ( in some places it was over 1,5cm) carved parts are very deep. On the top of the lamp there's closing part locked by magnets. The lamp was painted with wood oil in rosewood color. Black parts of the pattern are burnt calabash surface.
The base of the the lamp is carved from the block of alder wood and painted in the same color as lampshade . The stand is decorated with black jewellery waxed string.
