no colour correction was applied to this picture. It really was that red/pink (in fact i was a bit late capturing the intensity). The sun was setting to my back and right, and it was 'burning' the rocks...
Part of an exhibition of work by Catalan artist Joan Sallas at Waddesdon Manor. This whole table decoration (with the exception of the hair) was constructed completely out of linen. Now that is how you fold a table napkin.
I have one now! the tablecloth is folded under because I dont trust the bottoms of the plant containers not to stain it with dirt. This is the sunniest part of my apartment and I eat breakfast here (nearly) every day.

This piece is 24" in diameter.
It has a black wrought iron base that is end table height.
Apple Ipad2 with Flashlight App, used as a light table to sort Transparency film in 6x7 format. My favorite use of technology is the one the designers never intended.
This is to show my Foot Powered Table saw in use. Now to some it might appear that I am peddling backwards, if I were on a bicycle that would be the case, but this is a table saw and to cut properly the blade has to turn toward you to cut. I have found one advantage to peddling in this manner is that I don’t have as much upper body movement as I have when I peddle as on a bicycle.
The main accessories of the table saw when I use it are the different jigs I made. I have 6 different jigs to cut the 6 different pieces I use in making my craft. I made them out of angle iron and bar stock. They are adjustable for each piece they are designed to cut so that they will cut to a tolerance of .005 when they are set up right.
You will always want to keep a sharp saw blade in this saw at all times or else you will run the risk of overheating the power supply and causing it to stop.
An untested theory on the safety of this saw is that if you hit your finger, your feet stop.
(For every revolution of my feet the blade turns 30 times, so when I peddle at 40 rpm I am getting 1200 rpm’s on the blade. It also has 50 pounds of flywheel to get you over the top and bottom of your peddle stroke.)

The Table of Contents is a machine to decipher the housing crisis; a hybrid of game board, dining table, and scale model. It records evocative and uncanny housing "values" within a neighborhood in North Minneapolis through interactive discovery and play.

We adore this cheerful Garden Party themed Dessert Table we styled for Isetan!
The brief given was Garden Party for the launch of their new Spring collection fashion apparels. We decided to go with a palette of red, greens and wood mixed together with cute little garden friends like the sweet ladybug and adorable caterpillar. Of course you would also expect lots of flowers to be present as well.
The first piece in my CJWD range, this is the Lines Coffee Table made using cherry wood with a maple line detail on the stretcher. The louvre-style 'Lines' are finished with an ivory colour high gloss paint. The floating table top is 10mm toughened glass.
I finished the timber in a hard wax oil.
The design will also be available in walnut with deep red 'Lines'.
