It was a year since I have last seen these Buchla 200e's.

Heard-tell they finally have cables and cords for these.

I might get to play with them this year! Excited!

Cantos Keyboard and synthesizer museum. Calgary AB.

February 2010.

this synthesizer is made out of an accupuncture unit from the 70ies.

i changed time constants so i can use the oscillators in the auible range. also a lot of other mods.

there are 5 mixable oscillators.each can choose a different waveform

El Dinosaurio by Fernando Lopez-Lezcano

I built this analog synthesizer, it’s a Sound Lab Mini-Synth Mark II designed by Ray Wilson at Music From Outer Space so I called it "MFOS MINI 2" to make it shorter :)

I added a triangle wave form to each oscillator using the Sawtooth To Triangle Wave Converter also designed by Music From Outer Space, as well as a built-in MIDI converter from MIDImplant.

I designed the front and back panels which are inspired by sndbyte www.flickr.com/photos/sndbyte/4899386667/ and made by Schaeffer AG in 3mm thick black anodized aluminium (texts and signs are engraved, not painted). The case is made of solid walnut wood.

This synthesizer is so interesting, creative and fun to play, thank you Ray for creating such nice devices and allowing everyone to build them!

My box of gear mostly ready to go.

red twisties and also red flappy swips

vintage mono synth. 4 osc!!

Nord Lead... a modern take on an analog classic. Small, light and fat sounding. I still prefer the Juno 106, but this is a nice way to compliment the old gear in the studio.

My set up for Space Fighter // Roland JU-06 // AKAI Timbre Wolf // Boss Digital Delay DD-3

A recent acquisition at the Cantos Foundation museum of keyboard & electronic instruments.

KORG donated these beauties to the Cantos Foundation.

I'll admit. I SQUEEEE many many times tonight.

Visited the Cantos tonight and got a lovely tour of the facilities. Took a lot of pictures & videos.

what is 'squeeee'? the sound a musical geeky fan girl makes when confronted with blinky lights and keyboards and patch cables and mod wheels and a lot of electronics. kinda sounds like 'gleeeee'.
