Found this in a decrepid abandoned house on SR19 in Florida. Like the contrasts.

Old fashioned dimmer switch has dimmed it's last. Not being a fan of electrickery nor or it's little handmaidens of doom I thought it best to label the wires before essaying it's replacement.

It seems the whole room was once painted a somewhat daunting shade of Rectory Red.

Volex, trhe original makers of te switch are now "your total global solution for data and power". And if that doesn't put the lights out I don't know what will.

Anyway, along with Wylex, Crabtree et al it's all be subsumed by the omnipresent Siemens Group.

Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway, 'Bike Train', with Reading & Northern RR GP38-2 #2010 leading eight cars and R & N GP39RN #2530 on rear, waits on the Lehigh Division Main at 'TANNERY' while the conductor lines the switch to the siding in Lehigh Tannery in Kidder Township, PA. The train backed into the siding before unloading passengers and bikes.

This track is used by a small touristic steam train, along the shore of the Rillé lake, in France.

This kind of small railways and trains have been used commercially in the French countryside in the beginning of the 20th century.

This tall table lamp was fabricated from a cast-iron baluster left at our local swap shop, a bronze maritime lighting fixture, a custom-cut granite base and a clear piece of acrylic to tie everything together. The lamp is an led bulb.
