this was bought unworn on ebay a few years ago, but now i find that the rubber strap has perished to the point of disintegration. the print on the front is all that holds it together. so i take the photos, and then i'll replace the strap and wear the watch which is fine.

I remember deciding against this watch because it was orange and I had no orange clothes. Back then, that was really important. Now, the fact that it's an Egyptian-themed Swatch is WAY more important.

Well, at least one corner of my place is organized. I've been meaning to do this project from the Purl Bee forever and FINALLY got around to it. I'm really pleased with how it turned out and I love how this little bulletin board is tucked in here.

My sad collection of Swatches that I love dearly and wear them all ( not all at once) so they don't get jealous of each other!

Taken with Olympus EP-3 with kit lens (tripod mounted) and a single Elinchrom strobe (only the modeling light was used ) and a reflector. Backgorund was black textured paper. Watch was hung from top with a fishing line.

Exposure: f/8, 1.3 secs, ISO 200 Compensation -0.7 EV

PP done and wb adjusted to give warm tone.

This cam was given to me by Olympus for evaluation but I own the watch:)!

I've seen this 6 train clad in Swatch advertising for several months, but I finally was ready with a camera when I rode on it this morning. The train made it's last stop at Brooklyn Bridge and stopped for a few moments, letting me get this shot with the doors closed.
