This is the Seventeenth Church of Christ, Scientist right on Wacker Drive in Chicago! Beautiful swatches covering one side of the building.

Why don't more knitters use the hexagon as a pattern repeat? This was an experiment that didn't turn out as I would have liked. It needs to be radically simplified, and I'd rethink it as an embossed pattern rather than a flat one.

The head office of Swatch in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland. A double-curved timber shell constructed from 7,700 timber pieces forms this fascinating building.
The watchmaker's campus centres on a 240-metre-long timber vault – one of the largest wooden structures in Europe.
The timber gridshell – a double-curved gridded structure – contains the Swatch Headquarters, snaking across the street to connect to a five-storey building.

So, I'm playing around with the Old Shale Lace Triangle Shawl (Ravelry Link) from the latest Spin Off in my newest handspun. I'm not really in love with the combo, but I don't hate it either so I will probably keep going until I run out which will most likely give me a very small neckerchief size. This yarn has a bit too much bounce and too many inconsistencies for what I think I really want so I will have to spin again. I would also like a larger version than 300 yards will give me.
The app I use to identify plants returned more than half a dozen possible matches to the leaves in this photo. Hence, I will leave it unnamed until it flowers and helps narrow down the list of contenders.

154 - OMG
155 - Sexagon
156 - He's Going In Circles
157 - Kaleidoscope Him Out
158 - Octa-Gone Wild

Os da coleção kaleidoscope ficaram parecendo glitter né, mas ao vivo não é assim não, JURO.
A textura é lisinha igual do omg.
Beijos!
Bom fim de semana
Strobist: SB-800 through Lastolite Ezybox from directly above. SB-800 gelled blue bounced off white foamcore behind. Standing on black perspex. Triggered by Skyports.
I'm not loving any of these color combos, but I think I've settled on a handful of peeries to use. You know, for the stranded sweater I have no business even considering.
Swatch (stylized as swatch) is a Swiss watchmaker founded in 1983 by Ernst Thomke, Elmar Mock, and Jacques Müller, and a flagship subsidiary of The Swatch Group. The Swatch product line was developed as a response to the "quartz crisis" of the 1970s and 1980s, in which Asian-made digital watches were competing against traditional European-made mechanical watches.
The name Swatch is a contraction of "second watch", as the watches were intended as casual, disposable accessories.
