Took a bunch of shots of my brother's Matchbox collection to make him a photo collage last year (as in 2004) for Christmas. Just found the CD. This was before I had a macro lens, and long before aperature and shutter speed made any sense....But it was fun!

The kitesurfers loved the stormy weather.

Their speed was rather high.

It was a spectacular show.

The last rays of the setting sun just before sunset hit the downs between Putsborough and Woolacombe, just a couple of fields from Pickwell North Devon. Looking from the coast path towards Woolacombe with Morte Point beyond.

Just a quick upload....I tried to clarify this photo a little, but it did not help due to all of the salt water spray in the air. I just wanted to give you an idea of what Hurricane Bill is causing on the East Coast. Even though it's 1000 miles off shore....it's causing some major beach erosion here in NC. But the Surfers love it!! 14 foot waves today....Surfing pics to follow : ))
