Just before sunrise at Croyde Bay, North Devon. Looking into the bay at high tide, across to Down End from Baggy Point.

There was a high tide in San Diego yesterday morning because of the recent new moon, and a lot of people were in La Jolla yesterday morning to check out the heavy surf. Exciting stuff to watch.

My wife and I took a ride over to La Jolla this morning to check out the December surf, and I brought my infrared camera along. We get bigger surf in the winter, and it was fun to watch this morning.

I've been taking infrared images for at least 15 years with a total of 3 different cameras. It's much easier to take infrared images digitally that it was in the film days. If you like this look, I have an album of infrared photographs, creatively named Infrared.
