I have taken these photos in order to use them for 3D modeling. I like mapping images onto surfaces, and putting decals onto them. These photos are raw JPEGs which haven't undergone any treatment at all - no reduction, no re-sizing, no auto contrast or auto levels or anything. Please feel free to grab anything you like and use it for your projects. Some may require cropping and sharpening, colour calibration, etc., but you surely know all that. Best of luck with your projects.

Thermal spraying can be used to deposit metals, cermets (such as WC-Co), ceramics, polymers in layers typically 60 μm to 10 mm thick, for a wide range of engineering applications. Almost any material can be deposited so long as it melts or becomes plastic during the spraying process. Coating using blends of different materials to produce composite or graded coatings are possible. At the substrate surface, the particles form 'splats' or 'platelets' that interlock and build up to form the coating.

Surface Active Group: These four whales were sighted traveling and socializing together approximately 22 nautical miles off Crescent Beach, FL - December 29, 2018.
The group includes three males and one female ranging in age from 11-17 years old. One of the four whales (bottom right) has a prominent white chin-white and black patterned skin.

One of the most unusual and interesting suggestions for new forms of living was submitted by Paul Baumgarten with his contribution to Interbau 57. He thought it would be inappropriate to place seven row houses with private gardens directly next to Tiergarten. As an alternative, he planned an elevated “living nave” or “residential ship” that floats over the glazed ground floor, with a gangway, railings, sleeping cabins, and living quarters. The row houses became seven maisonettes with attractive glazed studios on the top floor and private rooftop terraces instead of a garden. The classical-modernist formal language, the numerous glazed surfaces, the colors and the diagonal shed roofs lend the building a light and airy feel that was typical of Baumgarten’s architecture. During the IBA, the ground floor was used as a showroom by the manufacturer Eternit (which sponsored the building). Eternit was used in the façade and the roof. The name Eternithaus is still used today.

Diese stillgelegten Bahngleise werden im Laufe der Jahre von der Natur durch Gräser und andere Pflanzen zurückerobert. Ein Stillleben, wie es realer nicht sein kann.
Today I commenced the long tedious task of installing a road surface. This area is perhaps a fifth of the total road area that will require similar attention.
Here the filler layer of mounting card offcuts is glued between and outside the tracks. The previously installed rod runs for the pointwork can also be seen clearly here.
To spare myself from the relentless grind of making the road , I also built the block of six shops. These together with the frontage of 'St Judes' serve the purpose of hiding the two return loops which although quite close together are roughly a sixteen foot tram ride away from each other!
Embarkation of 2 Chinook helicopters and 2 Merlin Helicopters onto HMS Oceans flight deck in preperation for Baltic operations, rough seas and high winds made the embarkation challenging.
HMS Ocean has sailed following completion of a maintenance period in Devonport and will embark aircraft from 814 and 845 Naval Air Squadrons, 656 Army Air Corps and 27 Squadron Royal Air Force as well as Royal Marine Commandos from CTCRM. The ship will carry out Force Integration Training with NATO assets as she makes her way from Plymouth until her arrival in the exercise areas at the weekend. BALTOPS 16 aims to demonstrate the interoperability of NATO allies and partners and to assure nations of NATO’s commitment to the security and stability of the Baltic Sea region.
