Ruddalen, Gothenburg.
What lies beneath the surface? Could it be the spring perhaps?
Not one of my usual shots. This one might be used for the website of jewellery-designer Eva E Eriksson. My first "job" as a photographer.

A block of local limestone used as a barrier to traffic on the edge of an industrial estate. The surace is coloured (I have only upped the contrast, not changed the colours). Is this natural? Mineral staining?? Whatever, it is very fine!

The surface of the rose is worked in various shades of green. The golden leaves are stitched over with beige thread, but I might need to redo that part, as I'm not entirely happy with it.

You would think this was photographed on a reflective surface, and, sorry, you’d be wrong, these are actually two beautiful Peony blooms.
The peony is named after Paeon, a student of Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine and healing.
When Asclepius became jealous of his pupil, Zeus saved Paeon from the wrath of Asclepius by turning him into the peony flower.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and beauty, M, (*_*)
