It's kind of weird that the only text is the name of the cancer. Imagine a pink magnetic ribbon that only said "Breast Cancer" or a yellow ribbon that only said "Troops".

Here is a lovely pair of handmade glass beaded earrings. These are made by weaving seed beads together in this elegant presentation of American patriotic colors of red, white and blue. They are very light weight for comfortable wear. Pierced earrings come with a clear plastic backing highly effective in preventing loss or earrings. Ear wire can be exchanged to clip on style if desired. Very classy and a great addition to any jewelry collection. These are available in my Etsy shop. You can find the link info to the Carosell Creations shop in my Flickr profile. Thank you for looking!

A weird, weird combination. It invokes an indirect syllogism to make its (assumed) point.

"Aggies" - for those of you without much knowledge of Texas culture - are people associated with the Texas A&M University. "A&M" stands for "Agriculture and Military". [This is incorrect. See sharville's comment.]

This person loves Aggies.

Aggies support our troops.

Therefore, this person must support our troops. I guess?

KILL CLIFF

Kill Cliff was created by a former US Navy Seal. The goal was to create a low calorie, recovery aid, that could be consumed on a daily basis while delivering key nutraceutical ingredients to help improve athletic performance and speed recovery.

The product was created based on the theory that an integral part of enhancing sports performance is reducing inflammation. Most recovery and sports performance products try to do two things – artificially increase energy and replace depleted sugars and electrolytes. These products are missing the fact that the real culprit for reduced performance and slowed recovery is inflammation.

A really beneficial sports recovery drink needs the right blend of nutrients and anti-inflammatory ingredients, with a low calorie count, making it a suitable option for every day consumption.

NATIVE AMERICAN NATURAL FOODS

Native American Natural Foods, LLC, is focused on creating a family of nationally branded food products that are delicious and that promote a Native American way of wellness that feeds mind, body, and spirit.

Founded in 2006 on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, owners Karlene Hunter and Mark Tilsen imagine a world filled with healthy foods that add to the restoration and preservation of Native lands and ecosystem -- a world without the pain of starvation or obesity. The world they imagine embraces the lifestyle that Native American people lived just over a century ago.

Golf Digest magazine recently named Tanka Bar as one of the best nutrition bars for golfers to take out on the course. Tanka Bar was among five other industry heavy hitters chosen. The magazine asked four nutritionists to evaluate and then choose the top six bars from several national brands.

"Let freedom ring,

Let the white dove sing,

Let the whole world know that today is a day of reckoning,

Let the weak be strong,

Let the right be wrong

Roll the stone away, let the guilty pay, It’s Independence Day."

-- Martina McBride, Independence Day

So this pretty much sucks. I know. I just wanted to upload something involving fireworks. :p

I had the best time ever tonight. My neighbors began shooting fireworks around 8, while my parents were in a neighboring city watching some. My sister & I took our seats out on the driveway and watched the free entertainment. Afterwards, my parents surprised us by bringing home some fireworks of our own, including sparklers. :)

Then Jessie and her boyfriend, Farhad, came over around 10 and we shot bottle rockets and star gazed for a while. It was a little off with me being the third wheel and all, but fun nonetheless. Afterwards, when they had left and I was all ready for bed, I get a text from my ex-boyfriend/ still sort've best friend saying he was coming over to shoot bottle rockets.

He brought a HUGE bag, including waterproof fireworks that made a cool ripple effect when thrown in the pool. We shot bottle rockets from my driveway for a while, alternating between throwing them in the air and lighting them on the ground. And then we took a walk around the neighborhood and lit a few more in water drains and on others streets. Did I mention this was 12:30 in the morning? ;)

All in all, I had much too much fun tonight. Fireworks are so simple, yet so entertaining. I know Flickr is supposed to be about the photos, but I just had to upload this so I could share my amazing night. :) Hope everyone else's fourth was just as great!

Happy 4th of July, everyone!

I love love loveeeee America. <3

(BTW, Jessie took the photo of me with the sparkler. It looked much better without the overlay, but I couldn't resist.)
