Photographs from the first Hardy Half Marathon which started from Dorchester Rugby Club. The route went through beautiful Dorset countryside including the land around Hardy's Monument. The event was organised by Dorchester RIOT Running Club, Dorchester Rugby Club, Dorchester Lions Club and Casterbridge Rotary Club. It was sponsored by Parkers Estate Agents, NFU Mutual (Dorchester), The Dorset Brewing Company and the National Grid. All profits went to local charities, the main charity being the Farming Community Network. All money from the donated cake stall went to Mosaic Family Support.

Gabby was only four months old when he arrived at IDA-Africa's Sanaga-Yong Chimpanzee Rescue Center in January 2000, severely wounded from the shotgun blast that killed his mother. Gabby is small for his age and has always enjoyed a sort of social immunity. No one ever challenges him and all the adults, including alpha male Jacky, love him.

This is a poster I made at college for support community called 'Heart support'.
The brief this project was called "Nursery rhymes" and for this brief I was to produce a piece of work the related to nursery rhymes. I chose Humpty Dumpty and linked it with mental illness/ troubles in peoples life.
The egg was first printed in lino first, then scanned into the computer and put into Adobe illustrator to make everything look as crisp and as clean as possible.
Although the egg was once broken, it is now fixed and whole again. Just like people with mental illness/ problems. You were once broken but you can pick up the pieces and put yourself back together.
