A fun filled day of water activities, face painting, clowns and more.

 

Each spring in Miami - Florida, Miami Children's Hospital hosts a free week-long overnight camp for ventilation assisted children (children needing a tracheostomy ventilator, C-PAP, BiPAP, or oxygen to support breathing) and their families. Overnight campers come from throughout the United States and internationally. South Florida families and youngsters from local residential care facilities join in as day campers.

“The new facility which is being constructed will not only benefit the beekeeper’s union but will also support all the beekeepers in Akkar. The facility will provide the beekeepers in the area with all the equipment they need, will make their jobs much easier, and will allow this sector to develop even further,” said Mohamed El Khatib, President of the Beekeeper’s Union in #AkkarElAtika.

 

The project consists of finalizing the construction works of the municipal facility and the municipal public hall. The facility, which will be provided with equipment and furniture, will host the offices of local associations and cooperatives, and will be used for municipal meetings and other local events as well.

 

This project is funded by Germany, German Embassy Beirut KfW within the framework of the Lebanon Host Communities Support Programme #LHSP #UNDP #MoSA.
