Do you know what hope is? It's that weird little superpower that keeps you from giving up. You have that.

"Try Again Tomorrow"

(feat. Darling West)

If all you did today was, open your eyes

If all you did today was, turn off your phone

If all you had the energy to do today was, cry

Then you should know, that you're not alone

And it's okay to hide

If all you said today was, leave me alone

Push your friends away, and say 'go mind your own'

If all you did today was try to not feel anything, for anyone

Then you should know, you're not alone

'Cause it's okay, it's okay to feel lost, and feel tired

It's alright, you can turn off the light uninspired

And try again tomorrow, try again tomorrow

Alright

Just try again tomorrow, try again tomorrow

Alright

If all you did today was, try to survive

Force a smile and say that, everything's fine

If all you did was try to keep up appearances, a front for everyone

Then you should know, that you're not alone

Then it's okay, it's okay to feel lost, and feel tired

It's alright, you can turn off the light uninspired

And try again tomorrow, try again tomorrow

Alright

Just try again tomorrow, try again tomorrow

Alright

All I did today was, go back to bed

Pray for better days as I, laid down my head

Superpowers would be nice to have. I was watching my son play Prototype tonight cuz our wifi is iffy, we had a storm and it's raining heavily. These days one gets the feeling of a noose tightening around the collective throat of the human race. Well i do anyway. I was playing around on my phone while sitting with my son while he was gaming. This is the work i made, maybe it shows some of that "dystopian future" vibe i've been getting lately.

The Hittites (/ˈhɪtaɪts/) were an Anatolian people who played an important role in establishing first a kingdom in Kussara before 1750 BC, then the Kanesh or Nesha kingdom (c. 1750–1650 BC), and next an empire centered on Hattusa in north-central Anatolia around 1650 BC. This empire reached its height during the mid-14th century BC under Šuppiluliuma I, when it encompassed an area that included most of Anatolia as well as parts of the northern Levant and Upper Mesopotamia.

Hattusa (also Ḫattuša or Hattusas /ˌhɑːttʊˈsɑːs/; Hittite: Ḫa-at-tu-ša, Hattic: Hattush) was the capital of the Hittite Empire in the late Bronze Age. Its ruins lie near modern Boğazkale, Turkey, within the great loop of the Kızılırmak River (Hittite: Marashantiya; Greek: Halys).

Hattusa was added to the UNESCO World Heritage Site list in 1986.

The capital of the Hittites - Hattusa - was surrounded by massive fortifications when the Hittite civilization had a status of the Near East superpower. The walls were erected using the natural shape of the terrain or completely changing it, depending on the architectural and strategic needs. At least six gates let people enter the interior of the city. The Lion Gate is the first one that can be seen when following the official sightseeing route around Hattusa.

The Lion Gate, built in the early 14th century BCE, is located in the south-western part of the fortifications. It is flanked by two towers and the upper parts between the towers have been destroyed. The gate consists of two access openings of parabolic shape: an internal one and an external one. Once they were mounted with wooden doors that opened inwards. Most probably, the exterior doors were sheathed in bronze to increase their resistance.

I am 3 years old in this magic world called Second Life.

I am just a baby, but over these few years I could learn a lot and I met (and sometimes lost) a bunch of beautiful and cool people to whom I wanna say thank you for being or having been part of my slife.

Then, one day, I met that amazing man in the pic with me who has the superpower to make every single day of my slife incredibly wonderful... so I am just happy and my greatest thank you goes to him.

Love you, bunny ❣️

According to the current theme, I was supposed to take a photo of an object or living thing that can hang in the air for a long time. Because I used to watch the adventures of SuperTed as a child, I thought it could be cool to take a photo of him. I wish I could fly too ;-)

My husband Coofdy looking at the Soft Power art installation by Darren Sylvester at the Art Gallery of South Australia.

Coofdy is a very gentle person in nature and his soft approach to life is his superpower.

I’m thinking I’ll probably magically develop superpowers such as scaling hundred foot waterfalls when we become Canadian next month.

Spring Blossom and blue skies.... what more could I want. Nature, the only real superpower.

This is a nice little part of the coast at Budgewoi. The bridge here crosses Budgewoi creek, which joins Budgewoi Lake and Lake Munmorah, to the tiny lake island of Dunkey Island. You can walk around it in about 5 minutes with water views across the lake in every direction.

Do you have any superpowers? I do! I can make wine disappear ;) Have a great Friday everyone!

Superman and Superwoman have left the building.

Southern Pacific 4-8-4 No. 4449 roars through Drano Tunnel on BNSF Railway's Fallbridge Subdivision through the Columbia River Gorge on June 25, 2017 during a two-day excursion between Portland and Bend, Ore. Although an Amtrak locomotive was in the consist "just in case," No. 4449 proved that she is still up to the task that the Lima Locomotive Works designed her for: moving passenger trains at speed.

You know, it’s interesting living with a superhero. Today, Jasper flew off into the desert to rescue some puppy in distress. We sometimes worry that he’s putting himself into harm’s way. But he’s very good and we’re proud of Jasper and his superpowers. His superpowers certainly explain why he grabs any dropped food like a speeding bullet.

These were the ingredients chosen to create the perfect little girl. But Professor Utonium accidentally added an EXTRA INGREDIENT to the concoction.... CHEMICAL X. Thus, the POWERPUFF GIRLS WERE BORN!

There are three types of Cuttlefish in Sydney, and this is the most common: The Mourning Cuttlefish. The skin of a cuttlefish is covered with tiny coloured cells that can be individually adjusted to create just about any colour in the spectrum. It acts just like a thought-controlled TV screen. And this amazing ability is just one of the cuttlefish’s superpowers.

Cuttlefish can also change their shape to match their surroundings - when it is over weed it looks like weed and when its over sand... I think you can guess. A truly incredible animal. I saw this specimen at the Sydney Aquarium in Darling Harbour.
