After a couple of smoke choked days the wind blew up river and chases all the smoke away. Much better.
I have just got my first colour rolls of film back from the Mamiya C330.
This was taken at low tide and sunset on Brighton beach just by the west pier.
I think i'm still getting used to the camera, as i was only happy with about five of the shots, and a lot of them were slightly out of focus (the focus was just behind the subject, i think its out) I'm also looking forward to putting some black and white as the colour stuff was a bit to natural looking for me. I either like it to be over saturated or desaturated. I guess that it takes a while to get used to a camera.
I am absolutely not making this up. That sunset is right there, in the feathers. (Actually, it's a common grackle, which looks a bit like an oil slick.)
