A colourful sunset at the beach of IJmuiden, the Netherlands. The strong winds made it difficult to get this shot as I tried to prevent my camera from movement by shielding it with my body.
I spent tonight hanging out and enjoying the sunset and some laughs at the Glenmore Reservoir with my photogroup, who are really my friends now!
The clouds were AMAZING today. I took this from my back yard at about 7:45p.m. today. I couldn't believe how amazing they looked. I hardly enhanced the color and contrast. Just did a little burning to the edges.
Okay...just a few more shots from NZ (thought I was done but discovered a few more).
Taking this shot was Travus' idea. We had just got back to the B&B around sunset and Travus was grabbing my arm and telling me to hurry up and get a shot of the sunset, as it was going to be "awesome". Guess in NZ you come to expect no less ;-)
Non-HDR shot taken looking West from the Northcote neighborhood of Auckland on the last evening of our fantastic trip.
New Zealand.
It doesn't get any better than sitting by the lake at sunset with a good glass of Turkish tea!

I love sunsets because they give opportunity to rise again.
The location was as serene as environment. The birds were chirping the goodnight song, the restless tiger some yards away was shifting into wilderness, and turtles behind me were putting off their 210 years shell to the shores of little puddle.
I think this is one of my best composition. If you think otherwise, you are certainly welcome to point out my mistakes. Please post your comments in English. :)
While taking these photos I was really captured by the colors that came out during the sunset. It is truly impressive that the same repeating event can vary as much as a sunset can. It is truly a special moment
