When I saw the sunset on that night, I took around 220 photos in a space of
35 minutes,,,I said to myself that I would exclude those I did not like,,,
I exclude 14,,,, the rest of them were all to my taste...
Here is one of those.....

Not the perfect sunset with the cloud covering the sun, but the light attracts me.
Went for a walk this evening - and watched the sky turn from palest pink through golden, apricot and orange to deep purple. And thought again how wonderful the silhouettes of winter trees look against the sunset.
The sunset was spectacular tonight, but...I couldn't see all the beautiful colors from the yard so I hopped in the car and drove for a bit til I came to this place where I could see forever! I really like this one, it shows the whole sky!
Taken from our time at the beach. I was hoping to get one from home but I don't seem to get up in time to get a decent shot. The weather is so changeable at the moment you never know what you are going to wake to.
Sunset at Washington's Rialto Beach. The soothing and rhythmic song of the waves is so restful and relaxing.
Many think of Olympic National Park for it's impressive rainforests, peaks, rivers and waterfalls, but it's beaches are also most wonderful.

Busy and very hot day. In the evening we retired to our beach hut at Tankerton where there was a lovely breeze and a stunning sunset. We stayed until 02.00am, laying on the grass, staring up at the meteor storm that is the Perseid's, about one every 8-to-10 minutes before driving home, windows down and music on, bliss.
Tonight its an evening trip to Oare Nature Reserve and the hunt for the Barn Owls and tomorrow we are dropping Phoebe off at Ashford Station and the rest of the day is ours!
