Don't remember ever seeing a halo in the clouds around a sunset before, didn't see it until I'd snapped a few shots, this was captured last night over Bendigo
Sunset on this 1st of april,
Rare and sad view those days, one single plane is cruising over Zurich. Normally this is a busy High Altitude Airway with planes passing every 5 Minutes from South East to North West and vice versa. Of course this should be good for our environment but hopefully the skies getting back to busy. This would mean the sars cov-2 virus has been eliminated once for all.
Had a killer sunset last night. After a long day getting the boat ready to go into the water for the upcoming season, we didn't want to head back just yet. Waited around for a sunset as they are usually incredible around georgian bay, Ontario, Canada. and as usual... It didn't dissapoint.

A sunset cruise is leaving Navy Pier for a beautiful view of downtown Chicago as the sun is setting.
Here’s another winter sunset shot taken at one of the many small lakes in our local forest preserve system.
One of the weirdest and most beautiful sunsets I have seen. The cloud lit by the sun was forming some kind of twister/ vortex in a circular pattern, and there were some aurora borealis type colours in the sky. Was lucky to get home in time to get a few pics. I did a bit of minor colour editing, but essentially what you see in the pics is what was really there.
This sunset was probably the best I have ever witnessed on Guntersville. This lake is a spectacular lake, which covers a large area and combines with the Tennessee River. It has many areas of interest, coves and little marina's. We spent the about two hours watching this particular sunset unfold. It was breathtaking. The sky changed dramatically, always a real treat for any photographer.
