These guys were happy to share their sunset view this evening on Roan Mountain. Repaid their kindness with a pack of cinnamon frosted pop tarts.
From yesterdays sunset at Mt Warrigal, on Lake Illawarra. This log has drifted ashore recently (Lake Illawarra is a salt water tidal lake ..), made for some foreground interest to complement those rays over the escarpment.

Two frames raw developed in DxO PhotoLab 7, stacked and blended in Affinity Photo 2.5, colour graded in Nik 7 Color Efex, tweaked in Topaz AI-3 and finished off back in PhotoLab.
A timestack of the sunset - hundreds of frames of a sunset timelapse blended together so you can see the cloud trails.
I did this one entirely on the iPhone using the app iLapse for capturing and stacking the timelapse.
Check out the video I posted showing the stacking process here: flic.kr/p/txyXdm and the same frames as a classic timelapse here: flic.kr/p/sCfp47 and the behind the scenes setup here: flic.kr/p/t4wLHh
