Sunset reflections looking down the River Mersey marshland

All taken on a K&F Concept sponsored workshop organised by Ray Mcbride. This unamed wreck is only visible at low tide and sits a mile off the shore line at Hoylake on the Wirral Peninsular

Province Lake, Parsonsfield, Maine.

Sunset Panorama:

We have had no sunset due to heavy cloud cover since May 16th so I'm posting this sunset panorama that I shot at Province Lake on the 16th.

This is one I forgot to include in my photo post of the 16th.

Our beautiful Opera House I captured through a nearby window at golden hour with the moon rising on the right.

The Sydney Opera House was made a UNESCO World Heritage Site on 28 June 2007. It is one of the 20th century's most distinctive buildings and one of the most famous performing arts centers in the world.

The Sydney Opera House is on Bennelong Point in Sydney Harbour, close to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. It sits at the north-eastern tip of the Sydney central business district (the CBD), surrounded on three sides by the harbour (Sydney Cove and Farm Cove) and inland by the Royal Botanic Gardens.

A vibrant sunset casts golden hues over Mission Bay in San Diego, California, with clouds painting the sky in soft, warm colors and silhouettes of trees framing the horizon.

West Pond, Parsonsfield, Maine.

Panorama view just after sunset today on the pond, I was not expecting this kind of color as we had an overcast sky all day with periods of drizzling rain and very high humidity.

This scene caught me by surprise as I was upstairs on the computer and noticed that the light outside was getting reddish, I looked and grabbed my camera and dashed across the street to the pond and caught this scene.

Hi Everyone ............ a photo taken years ago !! Also it feels like that was the last time i went out taking photos, though i have taken 1000's of sport photos lately. I will catch up ...............

Hello friends. I've been absent from Flickr a lot lately. Maybe, since the weather seems to be getting colder, I will have time to visit some of your recent photos. I miss doing that.....travelling the world through my friends Flickr photos. These days, when a photo does call out to me from my slideshow, it always seems to be a sunset. We had gorgeous Summer weather the last 4 days....but this pic was from 5 years ago. Hope all is well with you......thank you for visiting.

Blue hour is one of my favourite times of the day to photograph. Without the harshness of the sun above the horizon the details in the clouds really come to the fore. Throw in some still water reflections and a bit of foreground interest and all the ingredients are there for a creative image. This is the Mersey Gateway Bridge spanning the River Mersey in Runcorn (or Widnes if you are from the darkside). The tips of the remains of the Mersey Flat wreck of the Beadale poke through the high tide river mersey.

I liked this sunset a lot . I think ,Sun is saying "Let me see myself once more in the mirror before the moon take its turn ".And now here he can see himself twice :):)

On the east bank of Loch Rannoch at Kinloch Rannoch with the sun setting over Glen Coe some 30 miles in the distance.

Taken in Portencross on 30/05/10. I had noticed how gorgeous the sky looked from my living room and so I drove over to Portencross to try and get a couple of nice shots. There were a couple of other people out with cameras so i had to try very hard not to get to close to them for fear of suffering extreme camera or lens envy! I've seen a couple of shots on flickr which have been taken at the same place and the on the same night as these and they look stunning so try and have a search for them (one of them is in my favourites). I hope one day I am able to produce shots like that but for now these will do :)

Here's a picture of my friend girlfriend.. I saw the reflection of the sunset in the puddle and had to get a shot reflecting the silhouette. The picture below is an attempted HDR of seaweed and the sunset... however it turned out a little blurry so I didn't think it was fully flickr-worthy. :)

Explored! Thanks guys!

The sun leans gently into the horizon, painting the dunes in liquid gold. A woman stands still, rooted like an ancient tree, yet light as wind. Her silhouette dances with the fading light, a quiet hymn to the setting day. The sand cradles her steps, tracing stories soon to be swept away by the whispers of the evening breeze.

In this fleeting moment, time dissolves. The mountains bow in the distance, and the sky hums softly, wrapping the earth in warmth. The delicate lace that adorns her moves like petals in the air – fragile, yet woven with strength. She stands not against nature, but with it, becoming a thread in the vast, eternal fabric of land and sky.

This is not merely sunset; it is a symphony of stillness. In the heart of Florianópolis, where the dunes stretch like ocean waves, the ordinary melts into the extraordinary. The dance of shadow and light leaves behind an unspoken truth – that beauty exists in the quiet, the pause, the breath between one step and the next.

A shot from last nights rather lovely sunset on my local beach at Lancing in Sussex.

I often see beautiful reflections in this building with huge Glass Window Exterior. It always makes for interesting photos.

Taiwan is experiencing one of the coldest day of the year- ground temperature is 8.7°C. It may not be that cold to some of the northern countries, but to a sub-tropical island as Taiwan, this is freezing to us. The 8.7°C happens this place- Tanshui where I got beautiful sunset earlier last year.

今天寒流來襲,全台平地最低溫淡水8.7°C,想到就冷,PO張淡水溫暖夕陽照,希望大家都小心保暖,健康平安等待太陽再度照耀~

I just can't pass up the chance to take a shot of a nice orange sky though you can really see the difference in quality on the phone in low light conditions compared to the full camera. This was a test shot to see if it is worth returning with the camera and I think the answer is a resounding yes

Sun setting at Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris. I was drawn to the shape of the water and the reflections in the wet sand, as well as the diffuse light and soft tones.
