No sign of any light today just more rain and wind , posting an image between coats of paint in my bathroom. This was a day with quite a good swell running so I had to be careful of the odd bigger set of waves. I love the rocks we have around here, when they are wet they have a lovely sheen to them reflecting the light and colour .
Taken last year at a local swimming pool. The sky didn't coloring at all but ok, you can't have it all :-)
I used the nik collection for this image. For landscapes it's a very powerful add to lightroom.

I shared this sunset with a stranger named Bob. He wasn't a local and I explained how Avila sunsets light up the sand with red reflections from the clouds. Also, turn around and look the other way. I'll post that one at a later date.
This Cornish sunset eventually turned into an amazing sight as the colours in the clouds became even more intense, those pics will come along in due course, on the way to that amazing sunset the clouds showed me what was to come later.
On another dull and dreary day here is an image to light you up, After the sun had gone it left an amazing light show along the beach at West Worthing.
As an old surfer with many years experience of surfing our South coast I know what is happening with this guy, He is trying to make his way out of the beach break but the wave will come and slap him on the back, most often it will push you over but he kept his feet.
A nice end to an afternoon on the beach This is at Lancing in Sussex my local beach . I managed to catch some nice rays yesterday afternoon while driving back from seeing my brother I may have missed the best of it while trying to find a spot to park along the coast road but I found a spot then a sprint to get on the beach and set up.

Sunset from the top of the dunes which was a more difficult climb than I thought it would be, two steps forward and ten back.It was worth it though for the higher viewpoint down onto the beach.

Another dip into my archive, An image taken on the same evening as this image www.flickr.com/photos/17469730@N00/51002586653/in/album-7... but taken slightly later as the sun was dropping more into the sea, You can just make out Lundy Island next to the sun on the horizon .
This is where we should have been this week, Croyde in North Devon but along with many others it was cancelled due to the pandemic, we were lucky enough to rebook for October so fingers crossed we can get back there .
