A simple sunset near to Dunakeszi

Seems to be a new world normal, to see such contrasts these days.

My heartfelt tribute to those precious lost souls of Malaysia Flight MH17, shot down over the Ukraine this morning.

We all want Peace, apparently, but so many of us go through Fire and Brimstone to get near it.

Interesting, that this colour reminds me of Buddhist robes…perhaps they're the only ones who know how to find Peace amongst it all …

Here a cow grazes peacefully up on the ridge, naïvely unaware of the turmoil behind her of a raging, fiery sunset.

Besides a little trim, no edits..

This was two evenings ago, and so delighted with the result of most of the series, wanted to get slap 'em all on straight away.

Then something intangible in the ether changed my mind and I delegated them to the wait list.

This is the first one.

I wish you peace .. but we shouldn't take it for granted any more..

Found a lovely sunset over the lake Rengen. The sun was very red just before sunset.

I have not been able to capture any decent sunsets recently due to the weather conditions so I have posted an image taken back in May of the beautiful sky and reflections at Langstone Harbour, Hampshire.

1 second exposure using a Lee 0.9 ND grad.

Bei dem doch recht traurigen Wetter heute habe ich ein wenig in der Mottenkiste gestöbert. Dabei bin ich über dieses Bild gestolpert, welches während meiner ersten fotografischen Gehversuche in Schweden entstanden ist. Ich fand es ganz interessant und dachte, ich zeige es hier einfach mal.
