As the veil of clouds blanket the sky, the eternal sun broils one last fiery breath. A mighty breeze blows through the dunes, over the sand and into my face. As the sun is consumed, the sunset is given a new light. Happy labor day weekend everyone! The third photo from the "Boundless Summer Sunset" series.
I have more pictures of Cleethorpes, however they are getting a bit too grey, even for me. Here is a sunset type thing, admit it, you love sunsets. You soppy sods.
When I was little I always used to draw the sun in the sky with rays all the way round and sunsets as yellow semicircles with rays escaping - a bit like the sun in Tellytubbies. Well last night's sunset was almost that. Here is the sunset as it was, viewed from the top of the hill at Malshanger, Hampshire.

This was taken at the end of my stepdad's road on a visit to Stoke on Trent this week, looking over towards Cheshire. What a view!
Quick stop near Dwygyfylchi to take a few photos of the sunset.
Just been to pensychnant nature conservation with Conwy camera club Sig night.
Last night's sunset, developed in minutes from an overcast cloud strewn sky ,suddenly into a wonderful display of colour.
Most colourful sunsets are bright and inspiring.
This one, not so much! The red was almost blood coloured and ominous, while there were some dark storm clouds as well as rain on the other side of Port Phillip Bay.
It felt like a scene out of a fantasy movie instead of a sunset viewed from suburban Melbourne!
Dear friends, I wish I had more time for the wonderful world of your photos and sharing my own visual discoveries of the amazing world around us. This was one of the gorgeous sunsets when I was overloaded with work again, and could look at the magic of the evening sky only through my window. But it was so wonderful that I had to grab my camera and try to capture at least a tiny framed area of the magnificent sky seen from my balcony.
I have to sincerely thank all of you who warmly encouraged me to not disappear completely from Flickr and left small friendly reminders here and there. I hope that my current tight multi-project schedule won't last forever, and that I will be able to switch to things and creative projects of my own that allows more time for things that I truly enjoy and love.
The light, beauty, and inspiration from this wonderful scenery I wanted to share with you all.
