Another one of the majestic sunset I got this evening. You see that tall building, sticking up by the construction cranes? It used to be a bakery.
Sunset silhouettes on the waters of Lake Albert, South Australia – what a peaceful place to be!
This is one of a series of past travel shots from the Coorong and Lakes area near where Australia’s River Murray meets the sea in South Australia.

Jökulsárlón, Iceland.
Sunset over the Jökulsárlón Lake or Lagoon. In the background you can see the head of the Breiðamerkurjökull glacier which feeds the lake with ice and glacial water. As the icebergs break away from the tongue of the glacier, they drift slowly throughout the lake to the mouth of the lagoon and eventually join the ocean.

I met up with Shaun again last night and headed up to Stowes Hill and the Cheesewring. To say it was a wee bit on the chilly side was an understatement with a glacially cold wind whipping around the hill, and I was thankful that I still had my hat and gloves in my pocket from winter! Unfortunately most of the lovely fluffy clouds that had been there earlier in the evening had moved on, but it was still nice to get out.
I was visiting my parents on Sunday & could tell we were going to get a nice sunset so of course, I had to ditch them for a little bit & go for a drive down the road to find a spot to catch the sunset. This tree caught my eye so I parked my car on the side of the road & braved the brutal cold & blowing wind for about 10 minutes of shooting. It gets so windy in the open country plains, the wind was blowing right up my hat freezing my ear. I was worried about frostbite but luckily my ear warmed up & went back to normal color later that night.
Sunset on the Zambezi river, on our family trip to Africa. This was our first night in Zambia and we went on a boat trip down the river on the look out for local wildlife!
Missoula, Mt.
Just a short outing with my daughter Isla to photograph the sunset along the Clark Fork River near our house. This is actually a joint effort image and is Islas first capture! I set everything up but let her trip the shutter (which she did with great vigor and repetition). The Clark Fork runs right through the heart of Missoula and because of that, is a major recreational spot. At any given time (when the weather permits) there are people fly fishing, floating it on tubes, or just hiking around.
Sunset over the village Seerau and meadows that are flooded from the rivers Jeetzel and Elbe. In Lower Saxony, Germany.
Sonnenuntergang über Seearau (Niedersachsen) und von der Jeetzel und Elbe überschwemmten Wiesen.
A sunset over the remains of an old boat launch.

Nice conditions with the distant Isle or Arran being obscured by the hazy cloud.
Taken at the mouth of my local harbour in Irvine, Ayrshire.

With the tide out the sand was still damp and very soft, so with my trusty wellies on I worked an area I had not shot before.
