Sunset on the Sea of Japan that I can not always see when I go.
Finally I could watch somehow while moving.

This one is for the GOLDEN BEARS of the University of California, who beat Stanford at Big Game this weekend 34-28! GREAT game.
The Campanile, or Sather Tower, is the symbol of the University of California, often called the world's best public university. The tower stands 307 feet tall and houses 61 bells which are rung three times daily by a carillon choir. It was originally built in 1914.
This is a shot I've been planning since I moved to Berkeley this summer. The University had been repairing the scaffolded Campanile all fall, and it was finally unveiled last week.

Sunset over the estuary, taken from near the Lighthouse at Portmeirion last Sunday. There wasn't much in the foreground, other than some seaweed covered rocks which were quickly vanishing beneath the incoming tide and just a couple of seabirds flying past in this shot.

Wednesday and Thursday evening I was driving home and was privy to spectacular sunsets……unfortunately I didn’t have my camera and there was no place to stop safely. So Friday night I was determined to catch the sunset and I drove up to a vantage point near Poowong. Unedited image.

I figured the sky was going to be good for a sunset. I set up my tripod and camera near a local lake and waited for the sun to set. Just as it was near setting a man on a pontoon boat oared his way right through my scene. He was apologizing profusely as he went across. I told him, "don't be sorry, I think you just made my shot!"
