I quite like the framing of this image- the dark cloud overhead and the immediate foreground help to emphasize the lightrays (at least I hope they do!).

A picture that I had forgotten about since it was extremely dark, and before I got lightroom (very recently) it would have been impossible to salvage. I don't think that I've done too bad a job of rescuing though, even if it's not amazing...

I took this with my cross star filter, and I thought it turned out kind of interesting. My settings were f/8 at 1/4000 of a second, with ISO 400.

Sunray Travel's yard at Woking yesterday (Sunday 28th July). The four Olympians were originally due to be back by or on Saturday, but - as is clear from their presence here - plans have changed. They're now due to stay around for a few more days until replacements arrive.

If you noted the orange sticker on the second light switch, it was placed there by my son as this was his room when he was little. I would guess it was to help him find the switch in the dark, but he was one for putting stickers in all Sorts of strange places! *sigh*

I was driving home last Friday when I saw the sky and the Sun coming out of the clouds.

I could not resist getting my camera and taking photos.
