On Sunday I was at the Lambertus church in Rotterdam, not too far from where I live. The order of the mass was nice, very much like the ones I was used to in Leiden, where I grew up. Also the church was really beautiful. Will post more, but here's a view that struck me as I turned around to leave the chuch afterwards. Sunbeam / sunrays "looking in"...

Linton falls, very low and well-mannered after a dry spell. End of a 4-shot sequence :-)
Now retired, I am free to wander and sometimes post daily, so perhaps you might take a quick look @ the previous 2/3 shots? Thankyou - muchly, Phil
To all who view and/or comment on my pix; each is a help and a pleasure in equal measure. As I use wide or super wide lenses a lot, I feel that my landscape shots benefit from viewing after pressing L and then F11

Still a little cooler and wet here and so I'm back into a long sleeved top and full length skirt. Sunray pleated, of course :-)
Today I was on a lovely but cold flight-tour.
We flew on a small plane north from Reykjavík to Snæfellsnes peninsula and I took photos of some mountains there. After that we flew east to Langjökull but unfortunately the mountains were covered by clouds. Then we flew back to Reykjavík.
I surely can believe me, but it was so cold when I opened the plane's window to take photos.
This photo was taken few minutes before we landed on Reykjavík airfield, just before it became dark. There you can see the mountains on Reykjanesskagi, south of Reykjavík.
Sunrays and Saturdays
Perfect starry nights
Sweet dreams and moonbeams
And a love that's warm and bright
Sunrays and Saturdays
Friendship strong and true
Oceans of blue and a room with a view

Michigan City Indiana lighthouse. A early spring cold evening. I captured the sun rays peaking threw clouds over the catwalk.

Wonderful native butterfly gardens are springing up on corners in my neighborhood... and the butterflies have already found them and moved in. And so have the squirrels of course.
I'm thrilled. I can't wait to head out in the morning with my camera slung over my shoulder. Thank you Urban Habitat: Think Beyond the Hedge. You're bringing back the creatures that make this part of Florida remarkable!
