CROSSVIEW

To view 3D pics cross your eyes focusing between at the pictures until both images overlap one another in the middle.

Per vedere le foto in 3D incrociare (strabuzzare leggermente) gli occhi fino a che le due immagini si sovrappongono formandone una sola centrale.

I've never seen the sky quite like this before. The sky stayed this way for a long time. I had to pull over and take this picture. I wish the location had been more interesting.

No processing has been used.

Backyard sunrays and morning dew in Houston

18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6

This is the view of the Appenzel Valley (which you don't really see because of the trees) from a recent hike to Hoher Kasten. If you look closely you will see two tiny little hang-gliders roaming about in the skies. There is also a ton of tasty cheese being produced in the background, but that is indeed too small to see.

Same place as previous photo with a bit of morning mist being burned off with the sun. Feels ethereal!

Although in mountain areas it is not uncommon for sunrays to show between peaks I have rarely seen it myself and never in such a spectacular way. Crepuscular rays are the technical name for sunrays and are most likely to be seen looking into the sun towards sunset. I continually photographed this seen for almost 20 minutes as the sun moved and clouds changed the light levels. This was the absolute peak moment of the rays.
