This took me by surprise. There was plenty scattered sunrays around but within the minute the sun was peaking through to deliver this.

A whole array of sun rays we were fortunate to have seen whilst waiting for the sun the warm up the whole mountain side. It was a cold 20 mins waiting for these rays to eventually land on us.
Taken on Bainskloof, Wellington South Africa
At this time of the year we who live in northern parts long for the sun, whatever the shape in which it comes to us!
This was after very heavy Thunderstorm. Sunset.

I went for a sunrise shoot Thursday the 12th of Feb 2015 and got this shot of some sun rays poking out behind this cloud and got some reflections in the water.

Semi-Off the Grid builder in my area, interesting collection of buildings and the vehicles used during their construction. You may have seen him on the TV series "Building off the Grid".
Notice the construction of the shed, one of many on this property. The framing is all whole logs and the roof is live edged slabs cut from logs felled on this property.
A few nice sunrays over the inishowen landscape yesterday, i ran and tried to get set up and compose before it stopped..i managed to shoot a couple of brackets before it did.
This is in the "newest" part of the building, started in 1960 and never finished. Light rays coming from outside.
HDR with 3 images, 1.3 EV gap.
The sun rays, now unencumbered by the clouds, began to stretch their luminous fingers across the bay as they caressed the calm waters.
Just liked the juxtaposition of the elegant church and the everyday electric business.
