Mina arbetskamrater bjöd mig på mat och show i 60-årspresent.
Celebration my 60 years day with workmates.
I really love this photo of myself and I haven't posted a self portrait of myself in a while so I figured that I should since I really like this one! :)
I colored my hair if you didn't read before or didn't notice it!
They're all over this city. I've been collecting them for Renee. This was just the first day's worth.
This painted oilcloth is in the main hallway of the Schuyler Mansion; it is painted in a geometric pattern in accordance with the usual 18th c. style.
the tall, old tenements on Castle Hill, right by the esplanade in front of Edinburgh Castle. Walking home from work, strong autumnal sunlight hitting this western side of the buildings and long shadows cast by the skeletal remains of the seating for the Royal Military Tattoo which was being slowly disassembled at the time, so couldn't resists a black and white pic
Info from ArchiSeek:
Designed as Dublin offices for Lord Lever (of Lever Brothers), by the Liverpool architect Edward Ould who also designed Port Sunlight. Built in a romantic Italianate style with its wide overhanging eaves, tiled roof, and arcaded upper floors, the building boasts one of the most unusual architectural features in Dublin - two multicoloured terracotta friezes depicting the history of hygiene (Sunlight is a brand of soap manufactured by the Lever brothers). Until recently these friezes were quite dirty but a restoration last year restored the building to its multicoloured brilliance.

Having the opportunity to go out and practice some Natural Light Portraits this weekend, as it is something I am not very good at.
This type of image work is very new to me and I still need to practice a whole lot more.
(Appreciate and recognise that the background and composition could really do with some better thinking about.)
As always any suggestions, comments and ideas are most welcome.
Thanks.
I just got the program Adobe Lightroom 2. From now on all of my photos will be edited by the program!
Resting place
There is a wall in my garden where butterflies stop to rest and warm themselves. It is such a delight to watch them and to photograph them, of course.
You waited for me, and so I came to you.
The seed that lay dormant awakens at my touch.
Life springs forth, leaves unfurl, blossoms erupt and wither in my heat.
The world turns under my rays and I give light to my companion, called "Moon".
You waited for me, and so I came to you.

Can anyone help with the identification of this plant? I think it may be hosta, but I'm not sure...

The sun shines through my pint of Stella, leaving cool patterns of light on the table. Taken on the deck at Butch's in downtown Holland, Michigan.
Went visiting family in Guiseley (Leeds) and during a mid morning walk through the woods near their home, managed to capture the sunlight streaming through the trees.
