We spent a relaxed Sunday afternoon having afternoon tea in fashion at Anteaques. This is actually the table next to us, caught in the later afternoon sun just before someone came to clear it.

something about waking up in the morning and seeing the sunlight hit my bookshelf - i love it.

Walking through woodland came across this rock. The sun came out and this "fossil" appeared. Quite artistic - don't you think?

This is a picture of two firefighters during the Malibu fires in '07. The rays of sunlight just make you feel good don't they?

Sunlight coming through our front door, getting reflected from the living room door...

Funny what is right in front of your face yet you never notice it.

While waiting for #7 at Nashotah East, I noticed that the sun had created shadows with the rail I.D. marks, accentuating them more than you would typically see. I noticed that one of the rails in the siding is from June 1935, another from 1943.

It is simply astounding that main line freights in 2022 are still traversing across stick rail minted the year Hiawatha trains were first introduced!
