Taking photos and exploring various parts of nature, architecture, food, and people for me, is always a great time to sit with my thoughts and simply think. This morning hope and change was on my mind and this brought emotions of excitement, joy, and fear. For me fear is always present, it isn't necessarily a bad feeling, I actually have learned to embrace it. Fear is telling me that im doing something right because I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and looking at myself honestly. For many years I consumed myself with lies, thievery, and cheating, throughout this time the only person I was lying and cheating with was myself. Im now being mindful of my days, living in each moment and not taking anything for granted. I dont want to project into the future but the thought of it just brings upon anxious anticipation. I love my life, I love my family and my friends. Trying times are times for trying and right now im making it a goal to live by that and not give up hope. With humility and a dash of courage, we can accomplish anything, just remember that action precedes motivation and with each step you take out of yourself, the more smooth your life will roll. So on this day I ask you to try out something new, something you wouldn't call yourself an expert on. Get uncomfortable and remember to not stop moving!!
Sunlight streams into this glass, metal and concrete workplace for a minute or two some sunny mornings when the angles are just right. Like a single burst of sound echoing off multiple walls, it bounces off the panes of glass, sometimes splitting into its component wavelengths to reveal perfect spectra.
This spectrum was projected onto the metal skirting board in a corridor. The cyan lens flare from sunlight reflected off the glass partition into the camera lens was a bonus!

My wife, Heidi, was walking in the woods with me and I snapped this shot without her knowing. She's one beautiful woman!
2/2/2012.
Stopped home to feed Penny before going to climb, and as the sun was low on the horizon, I caught this shot of the blinds in my bedroom. The direct warm sun was hitting just the top blinds, with the cool reflected light hitting the bottom. minimally processed in lightroom.

Sunlight reflections along the water rolling along the beach at Murrawah in Tasmania, Australia.
This shot was taken during daylight late in the afternoon, but due to the angle of the sun and camera, the exposure has given the golden beach a silky black colour with thousands of little star like reflections off the water.
Murrawah Beach was really beautiful, surfers in the water, protected from the wind, and warm, definitely recommend it :)
From the news of the cybercrime that disturbed the world, I knew many cats and the existence of the security camera recently in Enoshima. I was able to meet friendly cats, but was not able to see the security camera.

最近世間を騒がせたサイバー犯罪の報道から、江ノ島にたくさんの猫と防犯カメラの存在を知りました。 人懐こい猫達に会う事は出来ましたが、防犯カメラは見かける事が出来ませんでした。
