on our way back...we came across a sunflower plantation......it took me quite sometime before i found this baby...this by me was the most perfect one there...the patterns are just amazing...

Kamień należący do tajemniczej grupy tzw. kamieni mocy. Słońca pirytowe (lub inaczej dolary kopalniane) wystę;pują tylko w jednej lokalizacji na świecie (w usa), były używane przez tamtejszych Indian jako monety.

We called this strange mineral in Słońce Pirytowe (Pyrite Sun, or Mine Dollars). I have no idea how it is called in English, maybe you can help me? :)

My second attempt at imaging the sun through a Lunt35 solar scope. Finally managed to achieve focus with the Canon 50D DSLR by using a 2x Barlow lens, giving a nice (uncropped) image size. Colour tweaked slightly in PS to remove the slightly garish pink hue that it had. A few small prominences are visible as is one sunspot, as well as a dark scar to the left of the sunspot. A stack of 7 images, each of 1/30th second, ISO 200. [7 stack final]
