There is a massive wildfire in the foothills, on the way home we marvelled at the red sun and smoke.
I was along on the beach taking sunset photos until this woman stopped by and began praising the great yellow orb... who was I to argue?

I work in telecoms, and had to go to a site near castlebellingham, Co. Louth. There was a pretty serious fault I was working on. When I arrived the sun was just above the horizon, so I worked as fast as I could, as this was one of the nicest sunsets id seen in ages. Then the sun just sank below the horizon and the sky turned this beautiful colour, so had to say screw work, and got the camera out.
I know its just another sunset shot. But its rare we get to see them like this here in Ireland, and rarer to have a camera with me and get a chance to shoot it. And the cows in the field also wanted to lick my camera, which was another challenge :D
