I do believe nature was pissed at me for some reason during the summer and decided to let me know about it. Could be all in my head, but who knows?
Songs of Lear is a non-linear dramatic event that shows the world of subtle energies and rhythms that govern Shakespeare’s tragedy. The ensemble members have chosen crucial scenes from King Lear to weave a story out of gestures, words and music. Each song is a starting point for another ‘dramatic poem’. Here the music becomes character, relationships and events. The creative process has been divided into several phases: preparation of the concert, dramatizing the songs (an oratorio), creating movement and visual structures, integrating text, music and movement and finally moulding the performance into a mature shape. Songs of Lear is a constantly evolving creative research project in which audience may witness a very intimate artistic process.
Songs of Lear had its international premiere during Fringe Festival in Edinburgh in August 2012, where it received three prestigious awards: Scotsman Fringe First, Herald Archangel and Musical Theatre Matters Special Award.
Songs of Lear was also enlisted on the very top of The List as the highest ranked performance during the 2012 festival.

Obviously not your usual outrageous exotic car like a Bugatti or Koenigsegg, but it still looks great. This was my first shot where I started playing with exposure and all that, and the red on it really stands out.

Subtle Product Placement
Grandma took D1 and D2 for the morning, so we tossed D3 in the pulk (that fancy sled behind me) and dragged baby up to the kettle, where the valley makes a sharp turn and one is surrounded by mountains. I really needed that couple of hours of moving outside in bright sunshine. And yes, I am doing a plug for Kvikk Lunsj, the norwegian version of Kit Kat, which is required to take on all ski trips of more than an hours duration.
