Seen in the Werribee River Park at Werribee South in March last year.
“In photography there is a reality so subtle that it becomes more real than reality.”

Off camera flash enabled me to capture one of my favourite rose's just as darkness fell. I love the brightness of the centre of the flower with the low key around it.

Nightly freeze/thaw cycles occurring up until recently, have created a subtle palette of hues in local harbour ice. I usually don't see a composition in the resulting melee but here, it was more eye catching.

O, She Says
BY HAILEY LEITHAUSER
O, she says (because she loves to say O),
O to this cloud-break that ravels the night,
O to this moon, its mouthful of sorrow,
O shallow grass and the nettle burr’s bite,
O to heart’s flare, its wobbly satellite,
O step after step in stumbling tempo,
O owl in oak, O rout of black bat flight,
(O moaned in Attic and Esperanto)
O covetous tongue, O fat fandango,
O gnat tango in the hot, ochered light,
O wind whirred leaves in subtle inferno,
O flexing of sea, O stars bolted tight,
O ludicrous swoon, O blind hindsight,
O torching of bridges and blood boiled white,
O sparrow and arrow and hell below,
O, she says, because she loves to say O.
Looking at dark clouds slowly rolling from the west that consumed a setting sun I had little hope for anything dramatic. This was the best moment of the evening which lasted only several minutes. One hardly knows what to expect when comes to taking images of sunset - you get what you get on the day. This view with silvery seed heads of wild clematis covering hedges along the Cotswold Way was taken at the top of Hanging Hill. Lansdown near Bath, BANES, England, UK
Thank you for your visit, favours and comments, much appreciated.
One of my artworks from the Exhibition FRAGMENTS showed at our new Gallery THE EDGE.
The poem by Eli Medier makes it talk, ty Eli :)
"No more dreams
lead now I am
anchored to the ground
by gray children
of gray ideologies
of power and death
I live in a separate reality
spend my days
to count the days
I aspire to heaven
and sink into the abyss
Nothing more distinguishable
trapped now
in this semblance
deceptive of life
I float in hyperbolic spaces
negative geometries
the existence curve
on the infinite limit circle
I find a crack
and disperse in myriads
of subtle vibrations
Diaphanous strings
envelop me
in narrow universes
The heart dries up
with rigorous metrics
We are peripheral numbers
sobs of ancient gods
indifferent anthropophages
Inhuman tangential presences
mark the solitude
of incomprehensible absences
Forced into this garden
multitude of fools
we are in labels
of white coats
Imperfect mechanisms
aspirants to human
Our disease
is in a divine folder
an irrevocable judgment"

Picturesque framing of a serene seascape under a dramatic sky with scattered clouds. The water's surface shows subtle ripples reflecting the varying shades of blue from the sky and the deepness of the sea.
A small white boat with an outboard motor is anchored, floating on calm blue water.
In the background, mountains rise from the left side of the frame, extending towards the horizon. The rugged landscape is characteristic of the South Sinai Peninsula.
The overall impression is one of tranquility and natural beauty. The sun's position creates a subtle glow on the clouds and the distant mountains.
I was pretty happy to be able to get close to this duck which is usually extremely shy around here... love their subtle beauty!
