Children entrust their precious stuffed animals with the Smithfield Branch Library and let them attend a sleepover. None of the stuffed animals got homesick during the night and called their kids to come get them...they were having too much fun!

Students and employees came together to fill stuffed animals on Thursday, August 24, in the Crist Student Center as a part of Welcome Week.
A few days ago one of my flickr friends contacted me and said he had a bunch of stuff he wanted to get rid of and asked me if I would be interested in any of it.
So last night I went to his studio (which is in an awesome building) and sorted through a few boxes and found some great anatomy books, books with bug images, old LIFE magazines, etc. He also gave me a bunch of canvases and panel boards, which was super kind of him to part with.
I can't wait to start going through everything and get to cutting! Paper cutting is one of my favorite things to do (anyone remember my "operation paper cut" days?) so i'm pretty excited.
