The hallowed pursuit of the Saturday crossword in the Guardian. Beyond me are Jacqui and Sue. Though, to be fair, all women are beyond me ;)

Hamps Hall and Barn, Waterhouses, Staffs. This is at the farmhouse end. The barn in the distance, behind the parked cars, is where the previous 365 photo (99) was taken. The buildings are all connected, so this gives you an idea of the size of the place!

Back to basic. A quick bash, and a quick pose, before customization. I'm still deliberating whether this figure will be my samurai's nemesis or a jedi (probably a young obi wan).

I made the drawing after LORENZO DI CREDI a very skilled renaissance painter of Florance.

Nature Color Studies.

Yet again „the walk“, I guess you know every single tree as well as I do right now ... BUT: I tried few things with the rendering, both while taking the shots and when processing them. When shooting I used a Kenko Nostaltone Orange, which is basically a diffusor and warming filter combined. That's where the color and softness comes from. I used a zoom lens all the way open, which gives vignette and fall off and a bit of additional softness. when proscessing them in LR and PS I payed attention to „fill the highlights with color“ and control the highlights in general. There was a beautiful „soft sunshine“ today (partially cloudy), and the light was so nice I hope I could capture that a little bit at least.

I did a traditioal page of the competition - washi tape, jewels, ellison die cut of the USA from Archivers, competitor paper and postage stamps that were from my stamp collection. Here is the journaling

A study of the Competition

[On the die cut] Heard someone say this is the best show in the U.S.A. 15 miles from me

All I use is Creative Memories 99%. [under the die cut] Because I am a consultant (exception is X box by Xyron)

Under the Washi tape:

1) I went to the Great Lake mega Meet to see my friend Kathleen and the LOAD group.

2) While there I made a study of The Compeptition 30 Everything on the page is a competitor product from Creative Memories

In Summary:

1) Washi tape is fun 2) Mega Meet did NOT have what I want 3) Saw Kathleen and she is my picture of the day; she is the head of our Picture of the Day Group. 4) Did not see LOAD sisters at Archivers. Wished everyone well.

This is part of a series with surreal childhood experiences

My style is also often known by the name pop surrealism. Lowbrow art often has a sense of humor - sometimes the humor is gleeful, sometimes impish, and sometimes it's a sarcastic. Thanks for reviewing.
