William (Bill) White III, retired BLM Physical Scientist, and a team of BLMers used a mud auger to drill salt core samples for salt thickness study. This methodology was used by Bill in 1988 and again in 2003 for salt thickness measurements that occur every 15 years. Bill chose to drill these cores next to holes previously made by the University of Utah's sonic drill with the intention of comparing his results and older methods to the University of Utah results with their new methods.

One from back in Spring. It was hovering having spotted something that needed closer inspection.

There are monks everywhere in Cambodia, and, at least for me, it's hard to think of them as students. I chatted for a few minutes with this guy as he wanted to practice is English, he was attending school in the Wat.

This is Paula and Rita, two inmates of my free-for-all study hall period during my senior year. To say the less than a dozen students who comprised this class had a lot of fun would be an understatement! This shot also made it into my senior year book for 1979.

Two young trees in our yard. I used Derwent pencils...I am trying to find a few good green combos, I do like to mix them so they are not so green, mixed more like the real nature greens. One of the best benefits of painting it that you really see. You see so much more detail when you really look. I appreciate viewing anything so much more then I did ten years ago. I am thankful for that gift. Oh well. This is strathmore 400 series, I actually think I like it. 5" x 7"

Kennedy Library has eight glassed-in group study rooms that we call Collaboration Rooms. Located on the second floor of the library, students can reserve the rooms up to two weeks in advance. The rooms include large modular tables, many chairs, white boards and 48" flat-screen monitors that can hook up to computers or display information from thumbdrives.

“Particularly with mental health there is a stigma - isolation from the normal relationships. But change is a community project. Healing is a community project.” – John K John, founder of the Biblical Counseling Trust of India. BCTI's courses train church leaders, like these two pastors, to meet the pastoral counseling and mental health issues of their communities.
