Before I ordain I have to read through the chants in Romanized Pali. Very difficult.
Luckily there'll be a monk who'll help me during the ordination process, but I still want to be familiar with it, don't want to look like a total goof. :-)
This intense red study was to focus on my tonal range and to practice the proportions of a face. I really like the intensity of this study but I could have spent some more time on building up the skins texture and the nose is slightly to small.
This is a self portrait I shot on a nikon D70 in RAW. The camera was on a tripod and placed on a timer as there was no one around to shoot i got in front of camera. Shot in Dublin City and processed with CS and Nik suite.

It may have been a bit premature to tackle this as a macro study. Had to try though. Constructive criticism welcome.
This is a picture of me, my Señora, and my roommate after she finished making us up as true Sevillanas. We had a blast taking pictures and videos that captured this amazing experience. Living with our family, we really got a great feel for the culture. As part of the homestay, we took all meals with our families, exposing us to real Spanish cooking, and we would also watch Spanish television and movies with them, which improved our Spanish and provided for invaluable bonding experiences.

I took my science class to a pond nearby Milwaukee to investigate water animals.
A campaign to encourage 15-17 year olds to study maths. Although the beginning poster does have an air of immaturity...who doesn't like doing silly things now and again...like spelling 'boobies' in a calculator...and the most important thing was to get rid of the seriousness of the subject, making it look fun and exciting.
