The B.Arch.Yr-1, Sem.-II students of NSA went for their Study Tour to Bengaluru, Hassan and Mysore from 5th January, 2016 to 10th January, 2016 as a part of their curriculum. Students visited temples, malls, collected drawings, and pictures for their study purpose. Workshop at CGBMT Bamboo Symphony, temple study at BelurChannakeshava Temple, Helebeeduand Measured Drawing - Documentation of "ChowdaiahNivas” at Mysore – a 113 years old structure clearly showing the difference in planning, architecture, building materials and other aesthetical aspects from current ones were the significant objective of study tour.

Visit to ITU's ICT Discovery by students from the Graduate Study Program - UNOG

I am a rising senior in the nursing program and honors college. Attached are pictures from my study abroad experience with the health professions in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic earlier this summer (May 25-June 12) required for honors college credit.

A three part study of my bike. I used my Vivitar 285HV with a blue gel as the back light and reflected it off the mirror for the key.
I also kept the shutter speed low to let in some subtle sunlight.
We visited a nuns' monastery on Sagaing Hill (Myanmar). This site is 20km from Mandalay and a former capital of at least two Burmese kingdoms. Today it is home to a multitude of pagodas and monasteries.
As for the monks, nuns have the possibility to study at the monasteries. This is why a lot of poor families send their children to monasteries. We even saw a nun working on a PC.
As flowers go, they are big and bold and perhaps a little unsubtle, but I have enjoyed growing some this year.
These are from my Rhode Island Teacher's certificate which was earned by being an undergraduate for 4 years at Rhode Island College studying Education, followed by another 4 or 5 years of post graduate work for a master's degree in my field of education. At that time (post grad) I was teaching and raising two small children. This certificate represents blood, sweat and lots of tears and tiredness. But look! It says '"valid for LIFE", hooray! And it was so worth it all...I loved, and still love...teaching!
And, it gave me certification to wield that red pen!!!!
