I've discovered that I don't like white backgrounds...hmmm...I hope that I don't get stuck in a rut. I must tell you all that the couch used here is EXTREMELY HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The mauve moire taffets skirting is from the table skirts at my wedding in 1989! Later my Mom made a basinet cover and skirt with the fabric and now it's table skirting for my desk. The desk is 2 filing cabinets with a door layed across the top of it.

The valance is a Shabby Chic shower curtain from Target. Target doesn't offer curtains out of that print so I made a valance out of that shower curtain. The pink voile and white lace curtains are from the Shabby Chic Collection at Target, too.

Hector (DJ_H) bought a ton of immense lighting gear and found a space for us to set up in.

We spent a hungover day messing about, setting up, shooting each other for practice and then swapping retouching tips back at his.

Today was a good day! :)

Today was my first attempt at some studio lighting. To the right of her is one HUGE softbox with a Bowens flash on 1/2 power. My school has pretty much the most awesome studio equipment ever!
