CorkStop Studios is an artist's studio in San Luis Obispo County on California's beautiful Central Coast, half way between Los Angeles and San Francisco. It is home to three contemporary artists: Carol Paquet, Anne Stahl and Xenia Madison. All three are abstract painters and printmakers who are schooled, exhibited and collected internationally.

If I could change one thing, I would paint the walls a cheerier color, like pale yellow or even a crisp white with an aqua accent wall. I may just do this yet - stay tuned.

First session inside a studio. The model is one of my best friend. I was really happy to take some shoots of him and his girlfriend. At the end of the session I pop up my old Kiev 88CM ( Ukrenian 6x6 medium format camera) and take some test shots with it. This one looks pretty nice isn't it ?
I'm a noob with studio, lightning and all that stuff some feel free to criticize everything : lightning, framing, posture ...
PS : the subject doesn't fill the frame because my dumb 90m Zeiss Biometar can't focus under 1,5m. I need some extension tubes ...
