While lying in a stubble field watching the local Roe Deer, this Rabbit popped up right in front of my position. Although in the shade, I rather like the sun lit background.

Crap, I left my razor at my folks' house. Time to get a new one. A friend tells me I can pull off the scruffy look. Frankly, I can. It just itches, and when I eventually chicken out and shave, I sigh in relief and say "what was I thinking."
A field of golden stubble early on a hot August morning. The strong sunshine highlights the parched slopes of Glastonbury Tor, and the trees are showing the first hint of the autumn colours yet to come.
The majority of Crane sightings around the Platte River during the day, are in harvested corn fields. As the Cranes fatten themselves for the rest of their journey, opportunities are abound for photographers.
This things I do for flickr... I tell you.

Due to the nature of being an adult male human being, I regularly find a substantial quantitiy of hairs growing out of my face. I made some oversight somewhere over the past few days which led to this beardage getting a bit out of hand, culminating in that horrible itchy stage where shaving it off is one of the greatest reliefs in the world.
All humans are different and their hair grows in different rhythms, and today I noticed mine grows in two stripes, with a funny balder patch in the middle, like a two storey beard. That is what this picture is about.
This image was wiped out in the Great SCED Washout of 2011. My apologies if your favourite or comment went with it - I did all I could before I had to restore it manually. Thanks for understanding!

So I haven't made a big fuss about it but I haven't shaved for no-shave November. I think this is about as long as it get though so I'm ready to shave. It's so itchy! It's funny to me how much I used I want facial hair. I like my sideburns and some stubble makes my face look better, but mostly it's a pain.

I am so behind on everything right now. This next week or so is just jam packed with things that I need to get done, it is crazy. And because of that I haven't been able to upload my 365's for the past few days.
So, this is from 2 days ago (7-27). Elliot hadn't shaved for a while, and in honor of the Flight of the Conchords song "Bret, You've Got It Going On" (which I just showed Elliot on this day) I thought I would take a picture of his lovely stubble.
Kind of a lame picture for day 200, but oh well.
This was taken a little over a year ago, north of Walla Walla, WA, but I'm pretty sure the hills are looking very much like this now, except there is no sunshine today. Love these hills in the farmlands. You can see a sliver of a vineyard in the center, and a bit of a vineyard to the right.
Snapped in the grocery store parking lot. This is the first smiley face I've seen with razor stubble. I also like the "cat fish" to the right of the tire. View large to see it better.
