Due to the nature of being an adult male human being, I regularly find a substantial quantitiy of hairs growing out of my face. I made some oversight somewhere over the past few days which led to this beardage getting a bit out of hand, culminating in that horrible itchy stage where shaving it off is one of the greatest reliefs in the world.
All humans are different and their hair grows in different rhythms, and today I noticed mine grows in two stripes, with a funny balder patch in the middle, like a two storey beard. That is what this picture is about.
This image was wiped out in the Great SCED Washout of 2011. My apologies if your favourite or comment went with it - I did all I could before I had to restore it manually. Thanks for understanding!

Time for a shave after a rather lazy weekend. Normally I would shave but someone told me not too.
That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

These images are sampled, DJ - style, from glamour and political magazines, and re-photographed using a cheap consumer digicam. The effect is a distortion of the carefully crafted images presented in these magazines, and at the point of focus, a fragmentation of the image into its constituent dots.
These benefit from being viewed larger.

This was taken a little over a year ago, north of Walla Walla, WA, but I'm pretty sure the hills are looking very much like this now, except there is no sunshine today. Love these hills in the farmlands. You can see a sliver of a vineyard in the center, and a bit of a vineyard to the right.
Snapped in the grocery store parking lot. This is the first smiley face I've seen with razor stubble. I also like the "cat fish" to the right of the tire. View large to see it better.

The Man riding the tractor to the farm exhibit at the zoo. His usual calm, collected self.
(Jamie and Jennifer are in the reflection in his glasses; they're here to visit us for the week. The first of many, many excursions around the Twin Cities while they are here.)
Lovely to go for a little drive this afternoon in the sunshine...trying to get back to some sort of normality

Dax wax just DOES NOT come out. I had to wash it three times with soap, twice with shampoo and again with conditioner and even tried brushing it when it was soaked in shampoo and it still wasn't all out until the next day.

Haven't done a 365 self portrait for a while, so here's me and my shadow, which I assume is going to attack me.

Starting to feel better this afternoon, so I decided to shave my head. Thought, hell, let's have a mohawk for tonight's photo.
I normally have stubble or rough beard all year round, last year for movember i sported the big trucker style task. This year i'm thinking the musketeer moustache and chin strip, what do you think? Support Movember support cancer research.
