Beartownfoto and me were out looking for some moving water to try out long exposure. Mosquitoes were everywhere and I got more bites in one day than I have ever had. But it was all good fun!
This was where Bernie and I turned around during our walk this evening. It's the north end of Harbor Drive and Lindbergh Field (San Diego, California's Airport) is over the other side of those palm trees. It's great for the soul that we are allowed to walk practicing social distancing here. I have to say that the majority of the people we come across are very mindful regards what is expected. During times such as these for some it is their calling. There are some extraordinary people... I truly believe that one day our California Governor Gavin Newsom will be President of The United States of America. Mr. Gavin is super smart and has a huge heart!

High speed! 1/2000th of a second.
I had all kinds of problems with exposure here. The auto exposure only really works when the camera sees the bubbles. Lots of them came out over exposed. I'll try manual exposure next time. There's lots of room for improvement here.
I'll try this again when I have more time........

Outside of Joseph, Or there are sevareal beautiful (and sometimes very steep) trails that take you up and out of the valley and into the “high country” where you will find gargantuan rock peaks, year round snow, and moutain streams/rivers. This scene came into my view as my family and I were hiking down from one such trail after shooting some family portraits up near a waterfall. I was immediately taken with the shape of the stream, the motion of the water, and the lush green landscape that Oregon is known for. Cheers and happy Thursday everyone!

Slightly away from Blea Tarn but walking around the edges there are paths leading off in many directions, this one heads down to beautiful waterfall with hanging tress and a wonderful vista of the valley below.
Point Beach State Park and just off the Wisconsin Ice Age Trail. This area is abundant with Hemlock trees. It takes 250-300 years for a Hemlock to become a mature tree. Then have been known to be 800 years old.
