Thank you to everyone who takes the time to view, comment and Fave my photos!

After a late rise on my day off I discovered it was foggy. So hopped onto the bus that went to Ljungskile and hiked up to Tjölstelsröd nature reserve for a day out. Sadly by the time I got there most of the fog had lifted but you can never go wrong when spending the day out in nature. Last time I took a picture from here I was balancing on that foreground rock with my tripod sitting precariously on the darker rock just above it. Today I played it safe and just stood beside the stream :D

It flows mainly south to southeast. On the upper course, the stream, in the middle part a mountain stream and at the inlet to the Elbe a smaller river, first flows through a slightly narrow valley, from the mountain village of Černý Důl the valley is more constricted. On the upper course, it flows through the Krkonoše National Park and a protected section in the protection zone of the healing resources of Janské Lázně.

This stream links a lake to the ocean. This stream is not always open to the ocean but has been open for quite a while due to heavy rains this year. This photo taken from the north side and I had a long walk to get to this point. It was low tide and the ocean was actually flowing back into the lake. Just about to cross a footbridge over the stream and these daffodils caught my attention. I liked the way they sort of gleamed in the evening light. As you can see there's still plenty of colour in the sky.

Chalk streams are rivers that rise from springs in landscapes with chalk bedrock. Since chalk is permeable, water percolates easily through the ground to the water table and chalk streams therefore receive little surface runoff. ... I just managed to find a little stream full of golden light to follow the setting sun.

Even though the temperature had been below freezing for twelve straight days, there was still some liquid water flowing behind the Eureka Lake Falls and along a mostly under-the-ice but occasionally visible creek below the waterfall.

Walking by this little stream was to much of a opportunity to pass by. It was a little wet and muddy but well worth it.
