Pereplain - stream terrace has gravel underneath. Judith Mountains, north of Lewistown. August 1991.

This is a very effective, impressive exhibit; the suspended water bottles representing the surface of the fast-running stream move convincingly in the wind as the "swimming" fish swing realistically back and forth. There's a gentle sound that could be interpreted as a rushing stream.

"Student designers are helping inspire recycling in Grand Teton National Park. This visionary program is led by Jackson Hole Public Art, in partnership with the park and Teton County School District, with support from Subaru’s Zero Landfill Initiative

STREAM visualizes the 2016 recycling rate in Grand Teton National Park. Outside, a sculptural river flows overhead depicting the recyclable plastic and aluminum sent to the landfill. Inside, a smaller portion of material depicts the amount of plastic and aluminum collected for recycling.

23% of plastic and aluminum from Grand Teton are recycled \ 77% of plastic and aluminum from Grand Teton are put into the trash and go to landfill."

Tung Chung (東涌), meaning 'eastern stream', is an area situated on the north-western coast of Lantau Island in Hong Kong. Tung Chung, currently one of the latest generation of new towns, was formerly a rural village around Tung Chung Wan, and along the delta and lower courses of Tung Chung River and Ma Wan Chung in the north-western coast of Lantau Island.

Need to mount a lens in one of the lens boards, check the calibration of the ground glass, and test for leaks. Then it's time to take a test shot...

Watching fireworks from the boardwalk

Fording a fast-rushing stream on the slopes of Mt. Rinjani, Lombok.

I took this picture in December 2006 in Holmfirth. I thought the picture would look nice in black and white.

A small runoff stream from a pond spilling over some rocks.

Daisy posing in a stream in SL.

I can't imagine what chewed on this Mexican Primrose flower, aka Texas Buttercup, so symmetrically.

Do you think it good be a genetic defect? Affecting only one flower of the plant? Doesn't that seem unlikely?
