I went for a hike to see what Irene and Lee did to the woods behind the house. There's been so much rain that there were little streams all over where there had never been any before. I've walked through these woods since I was a little kid and I've never seen one at this spot before. I set the shutter for 10 seconds and ran up to sit on a rock so I could turn it into a ghostly self-portrait of sorts. The mosquitoes were awful!

Day 243

We had to scramble down a very steep and icy ravine to be able to see this. Our friend's crazy dog thought this was a great place for a swim.

The Fairy Stream (Suoi Tien) is a little river that winds its way through bamboo forests, boulders and the dunes behind the village, in parts resembling a miniature version of the Grand Canyon. You can walk up via the sandy hills overlooking the oasis-like valley and return by wading in the waters.

This is a small stream outside of the mountain community of Newland, NC.

Rephaim Stream Park is a part of The Jerusalem Park and both are part of Judean Mountains National Park.

Algea flowing in the stream running from the Big Spring in Hot Springs State Park, Thermopolis, Wyoming. Looks like flowing green hair.
